VTBF ILLUMINATES DAY 3 OF 2025 BACK-2-SCHOOL PROJECT, EMPOWERING THREE SCHOOLS IN ABUA/ODUAL AND EMOHUA LGAs

On the third day of its dynamic 2025 Back-2-School Project implementation, the Victor Tulutu Briggs Foundation brought waves of excitement and essential resources to three schools across two Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Rivers State: Abua/Odual and Emohua. Spearheaded by President Hon. Victor Tubotamuno Briggs, the outreach reinforced the initiative’s pledge to bridge educational divides, one community at a time, as the nine-weekday campaign marches toward covering over 17 LGAs.

Kicking off in Emohua LGA, the foundation team arrived at the expansive Baptist Nursery, Primary, and Secondary School in Rumuche, where a multi-level institution awaited with open arms. The distribution spanned age groups, from primary to secondary scholars unpacking school bags, notebooks, writing materials and umbrellas. The all-encompassing handover created a symphony of cheers, with children forming orderly lines under shaded assembly grounds.

The momentum carried the delegation into Abua/Odual LGA, first to UBE Primary School in Aminiowere, Emughan, Abua. Nestled in a rural enclave, the school buzzed with anticipation as school bags filled with writing tools and exercise books, were doled out to primary learners.

Capping the day’s trifecta was a visit to Government Secondary School Egbolom in Abua, where older students received their share of excitement.

This trio of stops in Emohua’s Rumuche community and the Abua communities, not only advanced the project’s footprint but also amplified its message of inclusive growth.

As the Victor Tulutu Briggs Foundation gears up for Day 4, kindly follow along on the foundation’s platforms for live glimpses into tomorrow’s impacts; because in Rivers State, every equipped child is a step toward collective triumph.
