On a day when millions celebrated resurrection and renewal, the Victor Tulutu Briggs Foundation delivered a powerful message of hope and human dignity to the forgotten faces on Nigeria’s streets.
The 3-day Operation Feed the Street – Easter Edition reached its emotional grand finale yesterday, Easter Sunday, as the Kaduna team took to the bustling streets with food packs, drinks, and genuine compassion.
What began as a bold outreach in Port Harcourt on Good Friday and continued through Lagos on Holy Saturday culminated in Kaduna with scenes of gratitude that touched everyone involved.
The team set out from Kawo Bridge, moving deliberately through key locations to ensure no one in need was left behind:
• First Stop: Badarawa
• Second Stop: Kabala
• Third Stop: Barnawa
• Final Stop: Sabo
At each point, vulnerable men, women, and children; many who wake up daily unsure of their next meal, received nourishing food packs and refreshing drinks.
In that simple act of sharing, the foundation reminded them that they matter, that they are seen, and that compassion still thrives in our society.
For many beneficiaries, the Easter packages represented more than food; they were a timely embrace of love during a season that speaks of sacrifice and new beginnings.
Smiles broke through weary faces, eyes lit up with surprise and appreciation, and heartfelt “thank yous” echoed along the routes; moments that underscored the deep human need for kindness in tough times.
This special Easter initiative, which spanned three major cities and targeted over 3,000 beneficiaries nationwide, reflects the core mission of the Victor Tulutu Briggs Foundation: to transform lives through practical empathy, while advancing education, empowerment, healthcare, and sustainable development.
As the 2026 Easter Edition draws to a close, the foundation expresses deep gratitude to its dedicated leadership and volunteers who made the three days possible. The overwhelming joy witnessed across Port Harcourt, Lagos, and Kaduna has reinforced their resolve to sustain such meaningful interventions throughout the year.
