




Rivers State, Nigeria – The Victor Tulutu Briggs Foundation has concluded a successful two-day “Back-To-School” initiative which commenced from September 17th and ended on the 18th, 2024.
The initiative positively impacted the lives of over 500 pupils across four Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Rivers State. The initiative, which took place in Akuku-Toru LGA, Asari-Toru LGA, Degema LGA, and Port Harcourt City LGA, provided essential school supplies and support to students from Nursery, Primary, and Junior Secondary classes.
The foundation’s efforts reached more than 25 schools, ensuring that students were well-prepared for the new academic year.
The essential school supplies distributed included school bags, exercise books, pens, pencils, erasers, and sharpeners. This initiative aimed to alleviate the financial burden on families and promote education in the region.
