THE GRAND FINALE: HONORING A VISIONARY’S MILESTONE THROUGH COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT

In a grand gesture of philanthropy, the Victor Tulutu Briggs Foundation has orchestrated a series of empowerment initiatives in honor of its founder, Hon. Victor T. Briggs, on the auspicious occasion of his 43rd birthday. This celebration of life and generosity has been marked by a profound commitment to community upliftment, culminating in a comprehensive Business Support and Petty Trader Empowerment Scheme.

PHASE ONE:

The journey of giving began in Port Harcourt at God’s Heritage Ministries, where 50 petty traders and 10 students were each graced with N20,000 and N50,000 respectively, setting the stage for a brighter future. An additional undisclosed sum was generously donated to the ministry, furthering the foundation’s mission of holistic support.

PHASE TWO:

The caravan of compassion then moved to Unity Estate in Elejiji community, Chinda by Ada George Road, Port Harcourt, where another 50 petty traders were each endowed with N20,000. The community’s heartfelt reception and gratitude underscored the tangible difference these contributions made.

PHASE THREE:

In the Amadi-ama community, the foundation’s benevolence continued to shine, with 50 petty traders and other community members receiving N20,000 each. The shared joy and unity fostered by this act of kindness reflected the foundation’s vision of a united and prosperous society.

PHASE FOUR:

The scheme reached a crescendo in Abonnema, the hometown of Hon. Victor T. Briggs, where the community’s resilience was celebrated. 50 SME owners received N50,000 each, while over 600 petty traders were gifted N20,000 each, igniting dreams and fueling economic vitality.

FINAL PHASE:

The scheme’s grand finale unfolded in Lagos, where over 50 residents near Victor Briggs’ Office were empowered with N20,000, N10,000, and N5,000. The generosity extended to his residence, where over 50 community members were similarly uplifted. The concluding day was marked by a visit to Salvation Ministries, Lekki branch, where 50 church members were empowered, bringing the scheme full circle in the divine presence.

 

From its inception to its conclusion, the Victor Tulutu Briggs Foundation’s scheme has been a beacon of hope and a testament to the enduring power of community and compassion.
