The Victor Tulutu Briggs Foundation successfully flagged off its Free JAMB Scholarship Project 2026 in Gumel Local Government Area of Jigawa State. During the event, 200 JAMB e-pins were distributed to 200 beneficiaries selected from 10 secondary schools across the state, creating a joyful and highly appreciative atmosphere among students, educators, and community members.
The program was graced by several notable dignitaries, including representatives of the State Commissioner for Education, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Education, the Provost of the College of Education Gumel, and other key stakeholders in the education sector. Their presence highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts in expanding access to educational opportunities.
Beneficiary students expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Foundation and pledged to study diligently to succeed in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board examination. The Jigawa State Government also commended the initiative and indicated its readiness to partner with the Foundation in future programs aimed at strengthening educational development and student support across the state
